March 2019 Meeting Minutes

Coleto Creek Amateur Radio Club Meeting Minutes March 7, 2019 Attending: Jimmy Podsim - KD5QHH, Luci Podsim - KD5RIF, Brian Haun - KG5AUZ, Harvey Babb - WB5MCT, Hurshel Pruitt - WB5MEX Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm. Previous meeting minutes read. Brian moved to accept as read, second by Jimmy, motion passed. Treasurer’s report: None, Treasurer absent. Public Relations: Jimmy forgot to thank Cindi Smith for her donation of plates and plasticware. He will do that soon. Points of Interest: The Midland Hamfest and the Georgetown Hamfest will be this coming weekend (March 9 & 10). The Belton Hamfest will be April 6. The .13 repeater is still at the boxcar as weather has prevented it’s retrieval. The link repeaters have a place at Detar Navarro when they can be moved. Old Business: We discussed the possibility of moving the club repeater to the Cuero Scenic Overlook once the sheriff’s department new tower is put up. Computer in Shack: Hurshel will check on this this coming weekend (March 9 or 10) No new business. Harvey moved to adjourn, second by Brian. Motion passed and meeting adjourned at 8:00 pm.
